A Guide for Reviewers Shaping the Future of Scholarly Discourse

PreScientist24 Publishers is dedicated to advancing scientific knowledge, and the reliability of our published articles depends on an efficient peer review process. Manuscript review is a crucial part of publication, where reviewers assess and provide recommendations to ensure the scientific quality meets our standards. Reviewers are not expected to rewrite papers but should offer constructive, positive feedback and critiques. They must review articles received from the editorial office within the specified timeline.

Guidelines: Responsibilities of Reviewers
Upon receiving an invitation, reviewers should confirm their availability to complete the review within the given timeframe. They can accept or decline the invitation. If unable to accept, they may suggest a colleague for the task but cannot transfer the invitation themselves.

Articles are assigned based on the reviewer’s research interests. If a manuscript is beyond their expertise, they should contact the editorial office. Reviewers can also reach out to the editorial office if they encounter any issues regarding time or conflicts of interest, which may result in an extended deadline or cancellation of the review assignment.

Reviewers should assess whether the assigned manuscript fits within the proceedings’ scope. They must remain unbiased and impartial during the review process. Manuscripts should be evaluated within the provided timeline to ensure completion of time. If a manuscript does not fit the scope, reviewers should inform the editorial office (Editor@prescientist24.net or PreScientist24@gmail.com).

Reviewers must not discuss the manuscript with the authors. They should also refrain from using the manuscript’s information for personal use and protect it from any violations.

Criticism should be presented dispassionately, and offensive remarks are not acceptable. Confidential comments should be directed to the editor, advising on acceptance, rejection, or modification. Reviews must remain unbiased, free from influence by race, religion, nationality, ethnicity, language, origin, gender, or political affiliations.
