Cyber Operations Synergy and AI: A Cognitive Framework for Intelligence Operations-A Mini Review

Upaul Chowdhury

Published Date: Mar - 09 - 2025

This paper examines the interconnected roles that Cyber Operations, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Intelligence Information Operations (IIO) play in addressing current intelligence challenges.  Cyber Operations provide the foundation for critical infrastructure protection, vulnerability detection, and data integrity in an evolving threat landscape. AI amplifies this by using advanced data analytics, predictive threat modeling, and a decision-making process that far exceeds human capabilities. IIO integrates emerging technologies in a cognitive manner, enhancing situational awareness, countering misinformation, and providing real-time insights to improve decision making. Moreover, it optimizes intelligence practices by prioritizing critical information, detecting anomalies, and reducing biases in analysis. This paper highlights how the synergy among Cyber Operations, AI, and IIO forms a comprehensive intelligence framework capable of addressing the sophisticated cyber threats of today. It concludes by calling for sustained innovation, collaboration, and investment to ensure operational resilience and national security in the face of a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

The Double-Edged Sword of Data: Generative AI and the Hidden Cost of Bias

Anindya Halder Chowdhury

Published Date: May - 25 - 2025

Generative AI has emerged as one of the most transformative technologies in recent years, enabling machines to create text, images, audio, and even software code. These systems, such as GPT and DALL·E, are trained on massive datasets scraped from the internet and other digital sources. However, the quality and diversity of these datasets critically shape the performance and behavior of generative models. Biases embedded in training data can propagate into model outputs, sometimes leading to discriminatory or misleading results. This paper explores the foundational role of data in generative AI, the sources and types of bias that infiltrate training sets, and how these biases manifest in real-world applications. We present case studies of biased outputs, discuss the feedback loop problem in retraining models with generated data, and propose responsible AI practices to mitigate harm. As generative AI becomes increasingly integrated into decision-making systems, addressing data bias is not just a technical necessity but an ethical imperative.

Design for Manufacturability: The Bridge Connecting Idea to Implementation

Sardar R. Mostofa

Published Date: Aug - 30 - 2025

Design for Manufacturability (DFM) is a proactive approach to ensure products are designed for easy and cost-effective manufacturing. It involves early and continuous collaboration between design and manufacturing teams, ideally beginning during the proof-of-concept stage. DFM systematically identifies and addresses manufacturability issues using tools like diagrams and risk analysis to understand interactions and prevent failures. Successful DFM depends on a thorough understanding of both the product and its environment, along with the combined skills of design and production teams, resulting in better outcomes and fewer late-stage problems.

Fascinating Material Science: Understanding Tg and Tm

Sardar R. Mostofa

Published Date: Sept - 18 - 2025

This article examines the thermal properties of polymers, focusing on the critical temperatures of glass transition (Tg) and melting (Tm). It explains how different polymers are used either above or below their Tg, depending on their intended applications. The differences between amorphous and semi-crystalline polymers are discussed, highlighting their respective behaviors around Tg and Tm. The importance of these thermal properties for material selection and product design is stressed, along with how additives can improve polymer performance.

Similarity Search Using Apex and Oracle 23 ai Database

Dhritiman Deb

Published Date: Oct - 07 - 2025

Many organizations use various document store applications to store their important process/technical documents. Those document repository grow over time and finding right document during actual need becomes challenging. Specifically, someone who joins the team as a fresher find it difficult to find right documents for reference. This article demonstrates how to efficiently search using oracle database 23 ai as document store and APEX 24.2 as a frontend application.
